»Call me« is an interactive installation for the theatre production »Mobil« by Sergi Belbel taking the main topic of the play – communication over cell phones and it‘s impact on how people treat each other – to another level of promotion. Therefore we created several reactive posters which were installed on location using the huge glass windows as screens to Potsdam‘s inner city. One poster for each character, represented as an interactive video. On the windows we‘ve attached mobile phone numbers passers-by can call causing the character to answer the phone and speak a small monologue from the play leaving the visitor curious for more information.
»Call me« was installed in Potsdam city from November 2006 until January 2007 as a collaborational project between the Interface Design programme and the Hans Otto Theatre Potsdam.
「コール・ミー」はセルジ･ベルベル氏制作の演劇「モバイル」の対話式インスタレーションで、劇の主題である、携帯電話のコミュニケーションと、コミュニケーションが人のつきあいに与えるインパクトに、さらに一歩踏み込んだ形にしてみました。反応型ポスターを制作し、街のショーウィンドーをスクリーンに見立て、ポツダム市中心部に設置しました。ポスター１点ごとに劇中の登場人物が映し出され、会話型ビデオ映像が流れるようになっていて、ウィンドーに記された携帯電話の番号に電話をかけると、ポスターの人物が劇中のセリフで応え、通行人の興味や関心を引くというものです。
「コール・ミー」は、ポツダム・応用科学大学のインターフェイス・デザイン科とポツダム・ハンス・オットー・劇場のコラボレーションプロジェクトとして、2006年11月～2007年１月までポツダム市に設置されました。
